Winter Newsletter 2024
On Saturday 1 June, we were fortunate to explore Upper Sunshine on the ground with guide and Ecologist Mal Legg. We have engaged Mal to conduct a comprehensive Flora and Fauna survey of Upper Sunshine.
Autumn Newsletter 2024
March had seen a mere 3.5 mm rainfall and plants were clearly under heat stress. Thankfully the heavens opened on Easter Monday with 54 mm of much needed rain.
This last quarter has seen Mornington Peninsula Shire work covering multiple sites throughout the Reserve.
Summer Newsletter 2024
Happy New Year.
It is a summer like no other. With abundant rain comes a mass of green growth and weirdly Funghi (Omphalotus nidiformis!) The Reserve looks in good health with funded works progressing well. Our National Tree Day site is GROWING with some of the plant guards removed.

As we move into the warmer months, we watch the grassy weeds GROW!
Over the last months much of the Naturelinks work in the 5 different areas of the Reserve are focusing on the explosion of grassy weeds.
Sunshine News and Events Reminder

These connections and the significant support within our community are valued and the funds will go towards an exciting project ahead – watch this space.
