Clean Up Day Australia
It is that time of year again. Summer activity always means too much rubbish in our patch. Let's roll up our sleeves and get busy cleaning it up! Join BERG and Sunshine Reserve Conservation Group at 9am to 12 at Mt Martha IGA to register, collect bags and gloves, and receive a brief safety overview. You can then choose your own patch to clean up; from our amazing local bushlands reserves, to streets, school surrounds and coastal areas including The Pillars, Mt Martha.
Call for Volunteers!
Big things are planned for Sunshine this year, from our monthly Sunday working bees to launching Sunshine’s new Water Watch program.
Set a reminder for 9am on the last Sunday of each month, follow our socials for updates and reminders, and be part of caring for this special place.
Join us at the bridge on Sunday Feb 22nd to kick off a great year working on Sunshine. New faces always welcome!
Recycle for Sunshine
Sunshine Reserve is now part of the CDS Vic (Container Deposit Scheme) meaning you can support local bushland simply by recycling your bottles and cans.
How to help:
Return your eligible containers and use our code C2000063987
Every 10¢ refund goes directly to Mount Martha Reserves, supporting bushland restoration, tree planting, and protection of local wildlife.
Handy refund point: Benton's Square Shopping Centre
Together, we can turn recyclables into regeneration.
Thank you for choosing conservation with your donated bottles and cans.
